Rebel engine mount

Post by ken » Sun Feb 19, 2012 11:08 am

Hi:
MAM states the lower engine mount holes are to be 23/32 " up from the
bottom of the firewall. When I place FUS 85 & 86 bolted together on the floor
on top of the .032 gusset I have 5/8 "- should I put a shim under the FUS
85/86 to bring it up to 3/4?? Thanks for the help.

Ken

Be sure to make the .032 gusset extra long so the rudder pedal blocks (left
side is longest) will set on it.

I would skip the shim. It is best to have the mount on hand to match the
holes.
