Hi Brian
I had an unexpected opportunity to fly this morning and I ran the trim
to the stops. An inch or 1.25" of deflection is fairly easy to overpower
if it were to fail at that deflection. I concluded that I'd likely never
use an inch of up deflection (nose down trim). Tooling around at very
low power and speed I can see using an inch or maybe even a bit more of
down deflection (nose up trim). As other guys have said there is really
no need to change the trim in the circuit. The trim rate or speed was
just fine with the push rod in the outer hole of the trim tab horn.

Seems to me that the trim deflection Im getting is not all that much
--maybe an inch or so give or take a bit--when measured from the neutral position.

Good to know the 1" up/down trim deflection is in the right range.
Enjoy the 1000 foot up/down circuit deflection in your new bird and keep the
blue side up. Where do you do your flying from??
