Before I rivet my windows in the doors, is it necessary to have some sort of
sealant in there between the lexan and the outer piece?

Hi all, question on the windows ( side windows not the windshield ), I'm riveting the acrylic between two pc of aluminum and have been told to oversize the hole in the acrylic and put bushing's in each hole then rivet.

I understand the oversize holes, however I think the bushing's are overkill.

Does somebody want to give me some advice?

Greatly appreciated.
