Can someone tell me the size of the rivets on the horizontal stabilizer
the material is 5 layers thick the instructions tell you to go by the
rivet map it calls for 1/8 countersunk rivets in the area I am talking
about but they are not long enough to go through all the layers. I call
the factory no Tech guys on staff . Stephane tells me to call back but
when I call I get he is in a meeting all the time. Thanks Dale SR-033

Moose Horizontal Stabilizer
Moose Horizontal Stabilizer
I checked mine and indeed they (the 1/8 cs) are a little short where they go
through those doublers. I've decided that being so few rivets and that
there is a small head and the stem is through all layers I am not going to
mess with them.
However if I had been smart enough to catch this like Dale did I would get
some longer rivets.
