rivets solid or pulled

Post by Scott Aldrich » Sat Feb 18, 2012 10:51 am

Fred,
Yes a few guys have gone with all solid to the extent possible. I suspect
more for personal preference and looks than for strength. Not necessary from
a strength point on most parts. Some things like the wing spars are solid
on all.
As mentioned in previous posts you can fill the pulled to make them look
solid.

Hi All,

Has anyone chose the option of solid rivets versus the Avex rivets? If
so, how come?

Thanks!
