It's a good think you're retired - it seems you have a lot on your plate.

That was the plan Jim! Not sure if Howard is too keen though, think he wants
to get inflight hull back on it before it goes into the air. I have nothing
to come down in otherwise...broke my J3 wing bow on the hangar door frame a
couple weeks ago and my Rebel is still on skis. Figured I may as well just
pull the wheel gear & skis as a unit to go to floats. Will see what happens,
maybe I'll come down in it as is, if I haven't already hoisted it to put the
floats on.
Cheers,
Wayne

Primershould have been!! It hardened up fine by this morning...still a bit
tacky...but I just primed the whole boat inside and out with Tremclad
Iand it painted right over the Proseal with no sign of edge lift anywhere.
soalso now know why this 16 foot steel work boat was left for neglect for
thelong though...a bugger to even flip over... and I have a fork truck in
Ihangar! Hopefully I can get it painted tomorrow inside and out....... so
listcan get back to what's supposed to be going on around here and get CYP's
engine re-installed before the end of the day tomorrow. I want it flying
before Friday!

Fly in
The secret is....there is only one plate now!...and it's all in my yard. No
longer the distractions of making sure 100+ people get paid and that product
is going out the door. And that one plate that is left, I can pick and
choose what I put on it after CYP flies again.
Making significant headway...boat bottom painted today and the O-320-E2D
engine, as of 7pm, is fully installed and ready to run on CYP...just needs
the propellor installed, wings and tailfeathers to fly. Tomorrow I'll get
the inside of the boat painted first and then the propellor on and the
wings/tailfeathers all washed and waxed before they are 6 feet in the air.
Wednesday should see them all installed and ready for fuel. Thursday most of
the day will die to paperwork entires in the logs and Friday....test
flight?? I might just get to Tally-Ho yet!
Cheers,
Wayne
