The mounting plate goes on the ouside of he skin, and I secured it with
sheet metal screws and Tinnerman nuts, though if I did it again I'd use #8
plate nuts. I don't like this Murphy idea of riveting things in that may
need subsequent maintenace. I put a slight bend on the front 3/4" of the
plate where it overlaps the elevator spar. Of course, you have to route the
cable inside the elevator through grommets. I soldered the cable to the
servo wires and used heat shrink tubing, then tied a knot in the cable so it
couldn't pull back and put a strain on those skinny wires.
