Mike, we mounted ours on a rectangular plate that had a slight curve to
match the elevator surface. The servo mounted to the plate and then the
plate was attached via nutplates to the elevator. This was done for
maintenance ease and no sealant used. Plan now how you will run the
electric feed and think about how to replace that wiring if it failed.
We ran a small aluminum tube as a wire way in the elevator. Suggest
"sleeving" the all thread that connects the servo and trim tab with
aluminum tubing for appearance and rigidity.

Mike
We ran the wires out through a hole in the front spar of the elevator via a grommet and it will
go up to the fuselage under or over the fin (I think, we haven't gotten that far yet). I would
cover the wires with heat shrink as they go up to the fuselage.
Cheers,
Dave

Would it come out by the control horns/center hinge of the elevator?
