Well I caught Mike Kimball at home, so I ran over and took a look at his
completed flaps. There is no doubt about it, the holes in my skins are much
closer to the bend than Mike's are... hmm. When I got home I dug out my
aileron skins and all became clear. The holes aren't actually in the wrong
place... but the bent the skin in the wrong place, by about 1/2"! I added
two more pics to the archive site that show the problem... one is a side by
side of a flap skin and an aileron skin... the problem is very obvious and
clear in this pic.
Well, guess I'll start building the ailerons now.

Mike - You already worked it out but mine were bent wrong also - SR194 so
they must have had a bad batch - Britt
