Quest for the 14" tailwheel

I'm looking to replace the standard MAM tailwheel on my Moose with a 14"
one.

I contacted Tim at www.xpmods.com, who have a great one, although it is
$2000.00 (ouch).

I've called the following salvage operations, perhaps looking for one
off of a 185 or beaver or ?, thus far with no luck:

- Air Salvage of Dallas...800-336-6399 (don't have any)
- westcanaircraft.com (don't have any)
- White Industries...800-821-7733 (nope)
- Preferred airparts...800-433-0814...(started the conversation right
off with "We don't recommend any parts for experimental planes.")
- Specialty aircraft...800-500-6786 (I'm waiting on a call back from
these folks)

Does anyone have any other suggestions for locating a 14" tailwheel
assembly, other than paying full boat from xpmods?
