Hi,
We are running an M14P 360 HP. Our EGT's are running between 1400 and
1500 deg. F. on all nine cylinders. We cannot find data in the engine
manual stating what the normal range should be. Can anyone out there
help?
Thanks
Dick and Dave Shotwell

They never ran EGT gages and never developed the information. The CHT is
much more important to them. The carburetors are pressure carbs and
automatically adjust the mixture, so there is not much you can do about it
anyway. George Coy

Thanks George,
I appreciate your answer. We'll monitor the EGT and use the information to
detect problems if one goes way out of our "normal" values.

It is a steal at that price too ($19,500); the asking price for that same
batch of Russian engines is now $30,000. US
