Greg,
I'm only a humble factory rep., out here in the wilds of eastern Canada !
:-)
(and not always 'up-to-date') :-)
The factory has the final say, but, from my recollection, the
taildragger
gear WAS much longer than the tricycle main gear.... And that seems
sensible,
given the propeller ground clearance issue !
You might check again with them - perhaps Robin might have a quick
answer,
if you can't catch Darryl. (Maybe they've lengthened all the legs ??)
(Where's my ladder ??!! ;-) )

Dear Elaine/David.
Thank you for you prompt answers, it sheds light on some of my ignorance,
and there is plenty of that, but you left me with a, big and important,
question:
1. Elaine says "LG-300 is main gear for BOTH aircraft".
2. The instructions, page 10-1 and 10-2, say LG-300 is taildragger main
toand LG-310 is main leg for the trike.
3. Bop Patterson, on Greg Board's question said:
"The Taildragger legs are DIFFERENT ! They have to be a fair bit longer,
GREAT,get the prop up out of the dust....
They <could> be even longer ;-)
Murphy dearly would have liked to use the same legs, but it just wasn't
possible .... Angles just didn't work out !"
I am sure you have already guessed my question, if they are the same,
say no more, but if the instructions, and Bop, are correct, that they are
different, I am short of one pair of LG-310's.
Thanks again,
Stig.
Bob, What do you think of this.
Stig is Singapore Airlines Skipper building a trigear 2500 but bought the
tail dragger conversion kit at the same time for special job later.
