Next Rebel Builders Meeting - Sunday Sept. 14th

It's that time again !!! This SUNDAY !!!

The next Rebel Builders of Ontario Meeting is SUNDAY, Sept. 14th,
at 1:00 pm. at the RAA-TR Clubhouse at the far north end of Brampton Airport.
(North-West of Toronto, Ontario, Canada) (CNC3)

Sending this out a little closer to the meeting, in the hope
that more of you will remember and come out this Sunday !! :-)

We HOPE that Dave Fife, (with his <lighted> Hoerner wing tips ??)
will be driving or FLYING in with Curt Martin ! Hope to see them !
I think Dave is still looking for Elite builders to help with tip fitting
for those kits - first one gets a deal ! ;-) He is already
working on a set for the Super/Moose - we might see those.

If the weather's good, we might see Angus McKenzie, with some
brochures for his STOL kits. He tells me that the McKenzie STOL kits are now
available for the Super Rebel/Moose (about $2,700) - get your orders in ...
(The McKenzie STOL kit for the Rebel/Elite is still only $1,800 USD. )
Maybe Wayne O'Shea will be able to bring down some goodies for us to buy
- it's been a while ! Brent Davies will be giving us an update on
progress with his V-8 powered Moose, and some news on possible new
amphibs for the Moose, as well.

We REALLY hope the weather will be good, so we can see a
bunch of "Fly-In" Rebels/Elites/Meeses/whatevers !! It's not
looking too promising at the moment, but we can hope ! Don't take
chances, though ... and if you drive, you can join us for pizza
& beer afterward !! ;-)

Keep working on that Rebel, 'cause NEXT years' Ramble is
coming ! We'll have lots of pictures & stories about this years
Ramble trip to BOTH coasts !!!

We'll also have some new guests & Rebel builders, and another draw
for Rebel T-Shirts, or Rebel Coffee Mugs, Rebel hats etc. ....
Should be an interesting meeting !

Moose builders, too !!!) There is a lot of experience to share ...

Please put on your thinking caps & bring your 'subjects'...
It has been suggested that we pick one key topic for each meeting,
far enough ahead that builders can round up articles, photos, and
pieces to show - soooooo .... we need your suggestions for topics
for the next meeting.

There is a good possibility that I will be there if the weather cooperates
to fly down. I may have to go to Hamilton with my son though, as he is
coming home on Friday night and will need to go back Sunday or Monday.

If anyone wants anything specific please send me a PM so I can check
availability to have it/them ready to bring with me, if I do indeed get the
opportunity to be present.

As for new 3500 amphibs I'll let Brent tell the story, but will add at this
point that my EDO 3500A's are "somewhere" to possibly be used as a "mould".

Hi All !

Just a reminder - the Builders Meeting is back to the
original date, the Second Sunday in September !!

-- The meeting is on Sunday, September 14th !! --

It was printed as the 7th on the Rebel Builders Calendar,
in January - moved to avoid the Open House for the Flying Club.
The Flying Club decided on the 7th - SO .... we're back to the 14th !!

Meeting as usual at the RAA Clubhouse, north end of Brampton
Airport (CNC3), at 1:00 PM. There will be lots of news, and
tips 'n tricks to share. We're hoping for some fly in visitors -
maybe we'll see Curt Martin & Dave Fife !
