Way OT -- Larry's comment - condolences

Post by Wayne G. O'Shea » Fri Feb 17, 2012 11:29 pm

Think you about summed up what this site is all about Bill.......... !

Also THANKS to everyone and will pass on the magnitude of all these
"condolences" to my sister tomorrow.

Home for the day today to do the plant Payroll, and make sure all the bills
are covered to date, and then will be gone again in the am back to
Bailieboro, Ont until most likely late Sunday.

Smile guys,
Wayne

Speaking of OT, I've been thinking about Larry's comments. Personally, I
live in the flat lands of South Louisiana. No mountains. Our lakes are
many, but not clear and cool. The pictures that I saw of one of the guy's
cabin are absolutely gorgeous! I can only IMAGINE landing on such. Several
commented on the babe in the picture. I was drooling over the landscape.
After re-reading each of the notes that preceded Larry's remark, each of
them had a reference to flight, involving someplace that I'll bet should be
on a postcard. Personally, you guys can chatter about flights across
glaciers and mountains, into neat outback lakes, anytime you like. My only
comment is; more pictures, please. If you have a comment about having to
open up the spar, to fit the aileron actuator tube, that's great. It
probably applies to something I'm about to do. In the absence of 'building
tech' I, personally, get a real kick out of reading about you guys' fights.
After we build, we fly.!
All part of the process. When
the day comes that you fellows bore me with talk about such stuff, ya
won't see my byline any more. Who could be more boring than me, anyway.
Finally, sympathies to Wayne.

One builder's opinion.

Had hoped to see you in Orono, Wayne. Do your best with what you've been dealt with...
our thoughts are with you and your Sister. Then get some rest and we'll see you next time.
