Rebel Die Spring gear struts

Post by Robert and Olga Johnson » Fri Feb 17, 2012 10:52 pm

This message is primarily for Wayne O', but I wanted to send via the "group"
to let everyone know what a great system the die spring landing gear struts
are. I purchased a set from Wayne which I installed on this fabulous
weekend. I had not been able to get my aircraft out of the hanger due to
frost problems, but managed to do so on Saturday. I flew a series of
circuits on my standard 9012 bungee rings to refresh my memory on the stiff
ride. Between late Sat. afternoon and Sun morning I installed the new gear
and flew another series of circuits this afternoon. Actually the hardest
part of the change over was removing the Bungees.Great ride and great
looking gear. Comments from people around the airport.- "They look real
professional". I have posted a couple of pictures under Rebel Mis. "Die
spring gear". Thanks Wayne for another " Job well done" - Bob J. Rebel 652 -
Flying again, & again, & again- well you get the picture.
