The forward pulleys for the elevator are intended to be mounted on the
engine side of the firewall. The other Fairbanks builder and I want to
mount smaller pulleys on the cockpit side of the firewall under the floor
instead. Anybody know if there are any gotchas with this idea.
FYI - Both of us in Fairbanks also plan to mount our flap handle on the
roof. We'll just do lots of weight lifting to be able to pull in flaps.

Elevator forward pulleys
Elevator forward pulleys
Hi Mike, can you clarify your question? I can't see how the elevator pulleys
would ever end up on the engine side of the firewall. Are you running the
elevator cables beneath the floor?
