as i was doing throttle hook up i just noticed the castle nut at top is missing its cotter pin, it came this way from engine rebuilder, and was broke in for 8 hours like this
i never noticed this
just goes to show you check and recheck everything

I wouldn't be surprised to have them say that they leave it out so you can adjust the arm position to fit your application.
