chamfered landing gear legs for SR2500

Post by Peter & Monica » Fri Feb 17, 2012 8:47 pm

We are upgrading our kit to a SR3500 and no longer need our landing gear
legs. We paid $200.00 CDN to get these legs chamfered (very nice job!)
and would be willing to accept $100.00 CDN, plus your legs in
exchange. We can e-mail photos upon request.

We'll be attending the Rebel builders meeting March 18th in Brampton and
we'll bring the legs for you to look at and take, if interested.

Contact us at (519)624-2005 or capete@sympatico.ca for more details.

Hi Peter !

I thought the 3500 was going to have completely different
gear legs, to handle the extra weight .... Can you confirm ??

.....bobp

PS
Brent will be bringing some more of the Halon fire extinguishers
to the Rebel Builders Meeting - for sale to anyone who wants one !!

chamfered landing gear legs for SR2500

Post by Rob Helt » Fri Feb 17, 2012 8:47 pm

Hi Peter&Monica;
Hate to be the bearer of bad news but Murphy will not take the 2500 legs in exchange(if this was your reasoning to exchange your chamfered legs for an original set). I'm in the same boat you are in and I just got an e-mail from Brian today. The new legs are in the upgrade kit. I plan on using the old legs for float attach points after cutting them down.

Hi Bob,
Yes, the SR3500 has new legs, which is why we have to sell our landing gear legs for the SR2500. We'll bring them to the meeting and see if anyone wants them (beautiful chamfered job for $100.00 CDN plus your set of legs!)
