Nope. Grease there will attract dirt and/or get on the pads -- neither of
which is a desired outcome. :-)

If you are talking about the two pins that the calipers ride on...yes.

For many years I have polished these pins with a fine abrasive cloth or fine
sand paper, then spray with a silicone spray product only.
Do not use anything oily that will pick up the dust from the brakes or
"road" dirt.
That will only make a sticky mess, and the caliper will not slide freely for
very long.

Try molybdenum disulfide, or boron nitride, or the easiest to get - graphite.
