At last, Elite G-ONIG first engine start and taxi yesterday evening at East
Midlands Airport EGNX.
Wilksch Diesel WAM120 120hp 3 cylinder turbo charged 2 stroke burning Jet
A1, which should give over 10 hours in the cruise at Long Range Cruise power
settings.

more choke on startup, then I realised it was a slow internet
connection. :-(
Another comment from the peanut gallery, had a little problem with the
pylon mounted pusher engine, didn't realise the Elite was
a push pull. ;-) Then the plane moved and the engine didn't. Don't know
about these wind farms
Seriously though, congrats, looking forward to hearing the flight reports.
