For those of you with the 4 door, what is typically done where the carb air box protrudes through the bottom spine? It looks like most people box in around it, but can it just hang out in the airstream? Also, should there be some sort of gap seal material between the air box and the cowl, or just leave enough space so they don't rub? It doesn't seem like a critical area as far as air flow/engine cooling.
