Looking for experience with vg's on the elevator for rebels. I have the
landshorter set and I guess the major question is, does anyone have
experience with these on the elevator and what spacing from the hinge
was most effective?

vg's on elevator
vg's on elevator
The land shorter vg's need the slight curve sanded flat so they stay glued to
the stab. I used a bench mounted belt sander, it doesn't take much to get
them flat. They should have came with a pattern for the stab, it is a closer
spacing than on the wings. After putting the vg's on the wings I had to put a
set on the stab to get more elevator at slow speeds, but I still don't seem to
have quite enough. I am quite happy with the better performance and control
I got with the land shorter vg's.
