Moose: aileron alignment

Post by Ted Waltman » Sun Feb 19, 2012 6:23 pm

Hello Kelly,

Seems to me that what you describe is not a weight issue but rather a cable
length/tension issue (assuming you have your ailerons connected to the stick
per below). Can you simply adjust your turnbuckles to properly align the
ailerons?

I've never weighed the aileron tip weights.

Ted

Subject: [rebel-builders] Good day all, Moose question

I have installed the weights in the aileron tips and now the ailerons are
both high when the stick is in neutral. I did the adjustment prior to
installing the tip weights and everything was good, now it looks as though I
need to readjust. ? Anyone have this happen or am I missing something.

Secondly does anyone know the exact weight of the lead in the tips? Maybe I
have too much?

Thanks kelly
Moose
