sikaflex or proseal for floats

Post by Garry Wright » Sun Feb 19, 2012 6:23 pm

I'm busy re-assembling my right float after fixing up a little
accumulated damage and noticed that Ken is using sikaflex in sealing his
floats under construction. Some of the joints I have taken apart appear
to have been assembled with proseal. Since the fuel resistance of
proseal is not necessary in this application, what other considerations
are there in choosing either of these or perhaps something else?
