Not sure if it came with the kit (I think it did) or was part of the Moose
upgrade kit purchased years later. In any event, it's been found that the
light tube and ends (like the one I have under the bench) has been known to
break.

Subject: [rebel-builders] Moose Windshield 'V' brace
After getting no response from Murphy I thought I would send the question
out to the folks that will know.
I found only 1 mention of a windshield 'V' brace for a Moose; in the
service bulletin for the front wing attachment modification. It stated to
leave 2 holes on each side for the 'V' brace attachment points. No mention
in the manual that I could find.
I flew the factory demonstrator with Bob many years ago. I don't remember
it having the brace. Dicussing the point with other pilots it was said
that it may only be needed if the plane is put on floats.
If, indeed, the 'V' brace is needed is there a source for them?
Thanx in advance for your replies.
