[rebel-builders] Mysterious Part Fus 413

Post by NormIsler » Sun Feb 19, 2012 6:15 pm

Roland-

The part looked, and number sounded familar so I got our my manual and
parts inventory.

It seems that you have an Elite part mixed in with your Rebel!

Fus 413 is the Aft Tail Cone Skin.

On the Elite it mounts on the top of the tailcone, just forward of the
vertical fin.

Hope this helps!

Elite 702E

I posted a picture in the archives under Misc. If some of the Rebel builders
can have a look and see if they recognize this part. It is labeled fus 413,
and appears to be for the tail cone. Have not come across it in the plans.
It seems to be a perfect fit for fus 29, although the shape is a bit
different. It actually hugs the fuselage better than the fus 29s, but I only
have one.

Any help would be appreciated.

[rebel-builders] Mysterious Part Fus 413

Correction to my previous post!

There are two Fus 413's on an Elite.

One mounts top, one mounts bottom just forward of the fin.

Thanks Norm

It all makes sense now. MAM sent me the wrong part last month. It was
supposed to be a fus 70.
