My Rebel kit is still under construction so I can't personally say how well
these tires work but am told they are good for rough grass strips. My kit
came with Airtrac 600 x6.00, 6ply tires. I just recently purchased and
installed the 800 x 6.00 Carlisle "Turf Glide" tires on my JDM6 x 5 x 1.25
wheels. The tubes comes with a 90 degree valve stems. The part number for
the tube on my sales slip is 800 x 6 - TR87. The tubes are not made by
Carlisle but by many different suppliers. The TR87 I am told describes the
valve stem for the tube. You should be able to order them from your local
tire company.
Unfortunately my wheels were not completely drilled to receive this style of
stem. There is a hole in the side of one of the rim (which is parallel with
the axel center line) on a bolt circle of 4-1/2" with a plastic plugs in it.
To use this hole you will have to drill a hole off center of the 3-1/2 long
extruded spacer to mach the stem location of your tube. If memory serves I
believe mine was 1" off the center of the tube. You can then insert the 90
degree stem and then add a stem extender to properly exit the hole where the
plastic plug was to service the tire.
