Hi Al, What kind of VG's do you have ?? Did they come with a template or
distinct directions for installation or did you have to play around with
them to get something likeable??? Did you notice any difference in cruise or

Hi Dale,
I got mine from Jerry at PNW Aero, http://www.pnwaero.com/ they come with
directions, templates, glue and everything you need to mount. I am not sure
if there was any effect on cruise, if there was it was minor. The stall
tests that I ran produced a lot of data, but the instrumentation doesn't
give good results at low speed. The stall is below the indications on the
airspeed indicator. As I said before I believe they are a must for the moose
on wheels or floats. IMHO the aileron control issue alone is justification
enough. Some of the Moose builders have disconnected the reflex linkage to
get better control, the VG's did it for me. The stall was slower and without
them on the horizontal stab the airplane would only mush, no clean break so
I did install on the stab.
