Hi Jean !
If you run the wires up the wing strut, they can then go behind
the spar from there to the wing tip - you are past the fuel tank at
that point.
It's best to run the wires down the strut (with quick-disconnects
at both ends) along with the pitot lines, because they then come into
the cockpit down at the bottom, in front of the cage tubes. It's a
aidea....wires.....easier to run them from there up behind the panel, than trying to
thread them along the wing root, around the cage, and down !!
I've used the clear plastic tubing like the fuel guages (Canadian
Tire) - it's flexible, so easy to thread in, and you can see thebehindhope it isn't PVC ! :-)
