Sorry - I got that info from a couple of Cessna & Piper drivers who
found the right number - I didn't ask for it ! (Will try next time I see
them). {of course, those fellows wouldn't actually USE these bulbs,
'cause they're not certified .... ;-) }

The lights are exactly the same, but about 1/4 the cost - of course,
John Deere doesn't want the "aircraft liability", which is why the dealers
will only sell if you can give them the part no. !!

Hello There

I installed Trevor's light kit into the last bay of the wing. I chose this
position as the wing was already closed up and reasoned that it would be
easier to access everything.

Trevor did a beautiful job of making the light kit. The fit was perfect and
his instructions were faultless. Trevor could have done a wonderful job of
making the manual for MAM.

The unit would also be a little easier to service if you had removable wing
tips. Overall, the kit is super.

I buy these lights at auto parts stores and at Walmart. I use them for off
road driving lights on my jeep. You can get either 75W,100W, and 250W.

There seem to be a problem. You say 1 bay INWARD FROM THE ROOT. You can
not go inward fron the root. Also I hope this is just a typo. My
understanding is NEVER CUT INTO THE LEADING EDGE NEAR THE ROOT. Lights
should be installed at the tip end of the wing.

OK, someone finally found out that I was looking at the picture upside down.

I meant, of course, one rib bay inward from the tip of the wing. I guess
deductive reasoning works at either end of the wing....

I e-mailed two pictures to Wray this morning. They really only show the
bare-bones of the installation, but you'll get a good idea from them. I
will send in more pictures when I get the LE skin put back on.
