I have the MAM full swivel tailwheel mod and I'm completely satisfied with it.
It breaks free at a certain angle of deflection which works well as far as my experience has gone.
After it is deflected, I have no problems getting it back in the locked position for take-off.

I've never had the chance to compare it to a Scott tailwheel, which does look more robust, but like I said, I'm quite happy with MAM's.
