Great observations, Tom !!

As we say about the Rambles - the object is much like LIFE -
to ENJOY THE TRIP .... not to 'get to the end' !! :-)

The world will survive without us for a few weeks ...
almost ALL of the things we worry about never happen.
Great things don't necessarily cost any more than doing
nothing ... or the daily routine...

And now you know the secret - You CAN do ANYTHING you
want to !!! The possibilities are endless - most folks build their
own cages.... and now you have tasted freedom !!

It's pretty hard to settle back to "reality" (the OLD reality)
once you've been free for a while !

Welllllll..... since we're waiting for the bumps to re-inflate,
maybe next year we could do a mini-ramble --- just one week,
to the Ottawa aviation museum, and on to beautiful Quebec
City for a few days in "Canada's Europe" ... Closer, and
much less expensive ! ;-)

We enjoy helping people reach their dreams - and
most Rebel builders really do dream of finishing & flying
their Rebels to someplace exotic. We really enjoyed everybody's
company, the comraderie, the scenery, and the sharing of
experiences - it's great to widen your horizons as to what
is really possible !

All of the Ramblers have realized much more of their
true potential than the vast majority of the world's populace !!
Enjoy it, and keep on enjoying LIFE without limits !! :-)

Marvelous to have everyone home safe.

You drive too much Tom!
In 18 days Ducky burned almost exactly what my wee 50mpg car burns in a
year. However it is still less than I pay for insurance -or- hangar
space -or- other airplane related "toys" and it was worth every penny
for that trip.

An arctic trip is a fair bit of logistics and darn pricey for
prepositioning fuel drums. Alaska is probably easier. Don't know about
the Bahamas in a wheel Rebel although I guess floats wouldn't help
much. I was never keen on swimming where the fish are bigger than me
and have sharp teeth. I enjoyed this trip though. We didn't use the
camping equipment much but it sure gave us options in case we ended up
somewhere unexpected or without accommodation. Another possibility is
always a mini ramble down to Sun'n Fun next April.

Ken
looking forward to the de-briefing...

Yep, I got it now Bob.
It is all coming together.
The one thing I need to get this all to work is to get a $100,000 a year job
for my wife that comes with 8 weeks vacation in the first year of
service.(so she can come on these rambles with us)
She is keen.
All she has ask me to do, is find that job for her.
O yea, it has to be within walking distance of home, due to the high price
of gas.
I'll get right on that.
