tempted to respond to some 0 SMOH ads. Coupla questions:
Would you buy a 0 time engine without much references on the rebuilder's
experience?

Has anyone built a cooling duct and run a new engine on a test stand? I
understand that may also require a "club" prop.

Hi Ben
I have rebuilt a 0235 c2c twice in the last 25 years with no problems. Just
fly it by the book. The manufactures have a new engine on every plane and
there are very few problems.

When I repowered to an 0-320 the price between rebuilds and clone
engines was small enough for me to make an easy decision. If it's in the
budjet I'd vote for a brand new engine that's already been run on a test
stand built by a reputable manufacturer .

Hi All,
Seeing the discussion on new/used, reminded me to let anyone who's
interested know that I have a very beautiful O-235C Lycoming ( with conical
mount) for sale.
It was built by a reputible shop in Greeley Colorado and has 5.2 hours on it
so far. They installed L model pistons in it when they rebuilt it to 0 SMOH.
It produces about 115 hp at sea level and right at 100 hp in Denver.
I have an ICOM A-200 Comm radio and a King KT-76A transponder as well for
sale.
Just drop me an email and we can talk.
