[rebel-builders] Another POH for the Rebel

Your POH looks great. These POHs will be very useful to our fellow builders.
They pull together a lot of details that would otherwise take each builder
lots of time to reinvent.

My next effort is to cleanup the Annual Inspection Checklist that I have
developed and modified after 2 annuals and post that to the Builders server.

which is a compilation starting with Archer's Handbook and includes a
pile of information from other sources. It is specific to my plane, but

Performance, and General Information. I will look at the POH supplied
by Eric Fogelin and maybe enhance it more.

What I tried to do with this version is to make it into a compact version
that can be put together as a spiral notebook (spirals at the top) for
easy storage in the plane and yet easy to flip to pages of interest. I
have put 'box' lines around each page as an indicator of where to cut.
The handbook when put together should be assembled so that page two is
on the back side of page one and upside down, so that when you flip through
it you can read from top to bottom.

The data in it is estimated from limited flight data so is not entirely
accurate as far as performance is concerned.

So if any of you like this format, it gives you another option. When I
complete my flight testing of Rebel N52GG, I will post a more accurate
version for my Rebel

I created a generic POH for an Elite based on my POH and checklists. I

pitch props. I also removed specific airspeeds as they will depend on your
aircraft and flight testing. All items that are custom to your airplane are
marked with ### to make customizing easier. You will need to review
everything, modify and add as appropriate for your project.

For US builders, there is no required format for your POH, in fact placards
and instrument markings may be enough. But, a nice POH may help grease the
skids with the FAA or DAR that inspects your project. So, delete entire
sections or add critical information that I didn't include. You want your
POH to have what you need to find when things are going well or when it all
goes south.

As the old joke goes, an airplane can't fly until the weight of the
paperwork equals the weight of the airplane. I hope this POH reduces the
amount of time it takes to create your own forest of paperwork for your
official airworthiness (and paperwork) inspection.

This builders group is outstanding and it is a pleasure to give something
back after relying so heavily on all the help over the years.

I would like to have a look at the POH's. But what is the link. I may be
looking at a Rebel in the spring. It has a few problems. It has a cracked
window and some paint chipping off the left wing and maybe the right also.
then I want to redo it and put tires on cause I'll never use floats and add
the Dynon Skyview to it.
