onMark Landoll (405-392-3847 )sells a damper for Lycoming engines. It bolts
theto the back of the starter ring gear. It has a ring inside which floats in
some form of silicone to dampen out the power pulses and it adds about 12
pounds. I have not got one for my 0-320 yet but am planning to add it in
