[rebel-builders] motor mount -320

Post by Wayne G. O'Shea » Sun Feb 19, 2012 5:03 pm

Is it not clear enough on the pictures I supplied with the plates? Between
that and the measurements in the manual... you should be able to stay clear
of the mount spots.

All motor mounts.. no matter the breed... should be attaching at the MAM
suggested locations.

I'm ready to install Wayne's firewall reinforcing plates, but don't yet
have a motor mount. So, I don't know where to avoid putting rivets. Does
anyone have a photo that would show 0320 motor mount location well enf
that
I could lay out the holes and stay clear? And, are the dynafocal and
conical motor mounts different in where they bolt onto the firewall?

Another piece of this is that although 0320 is my likely choice, I'm
holding off committing to any particular engine till I'm really ready for
engine installation -- probably a year away even if I'm lucky. I'd like
to
get these plates on though, at least most holes/rivets.
