Hi Jean
There have been several revisions to that safety cable but 747R should
have the latest. I personally don't think a 3/32 cable is strong enough
to be of value even when looped or doubled. I guess it might serve as a
stop to limit bungee extension but I doubt that it would help if a
component broke.

So I'd suggest a loop of 1/8" or an external "Alaskan" 3/16" cable.

The 1/16" cable is for the door latch.

Hi Dave,

The same axle is used on the SR2500 & I believe the Yukon, which the
gear/axle bolts used are AN5 (5/16"). The SR3500 gear uses to bolts sizes
(AN5 and AN6), simply drill out the axle to match gear.

So go ahead and drill out the axle holes to AN6 (3/8") without issue. If
you like, drill out all holes to AN6 (gear & axle).
