One last question (for now) on your interior.
Looking at your pictures of your interior, I wrote about
your door latches and have found some latches at the local
Home Depot that are used for cabinets that rotate 90 degrees
to lock and unlock cabinets. They are perfect for locking
the windows when closed from the inside. I will be using
a door lock on one side to lock one door from the outside.
Now I am wondering how you close the window from the inside.
This is a general question and I am curious as to what
means that people use to close the window (in standard Murphy
configuration) to pull the window up and hold it in when
closing. I have seen one picture of a pull strap mounted to
the frame. What other approaches have people found convenient?
