[rebel-builders] another question.....

Post by Ken » Sun Feb 19, 2012 11:13 am

If this is the "A" bulkhead back to back with the next forward bulkhead
with only about 1/4" space then I riveted the brackets only to "A"
bulkhead not both. I do remember some conflicts of rivets on that extra
partial bulkhead and I think I offset the rivets on the adjacent
(forward) bulkhead to avoid hitting the rivets for the ST-40 brackets on
bulkhead "A". The fuselage side channels definately need the rivets
offset a bit.

Hello again...

When we join the floor channel bracket (ST-40) to the "A" bulkhead (which is
doubled with another bulkhead and the float attach bracket between), should
we rivet together the bracket-bulkhead-1/4" spacer-bulkhead or just the
bracket with the first bulkhead (I do not like that because I am afraid the
rivet will be in contact with the second bulkhead)

thanks again
