Can you give more details of that bushing? Wall thickness, material, flanged
or not? I was thinking of doing the same thing.
Thanks.

And then the wheels so it can be moved?
Perhaps one bushing at the lower rudder pivot is sufficient? There
wasn't a lot of meat on that bracket so since I have access to a lathe I
lightly pressed a smaller diameter bushing in instead of an AIL-26.
Outer rib reinforcements on elevator only not the rudder.
I timed the fabric and paint for the Fall when the temperature was
reasonable and bugs were low, but pick up the chemicals if you drive by
anywhere (OSK, Sun'n fun, etc,?) that has them.

parts.Hi Jim !
Just off the top - looks like finishing up the tail would be a good
place to start. That's a good place to get experience, with smallerailerons. That's where the manual likes to start new builders... then theyouCheck archives for the outer rib & skin reinforcements, and possibly
adding AIL-26 (?) bushings now, rather than later ... don't forget the
POGs (large nylon washers), too !

The work that is completed thus far is supurb, but there are some
modifications that I will be doing like some of the OMs, and the
instrument panel changes to suite my taste.
It looks like he skipped around quite a bit. I'm sure ther were reasons
for that. I am wondering what I should work on next? In looking atlist, does it give you guys enough of a clue to offer some suggestions?
Also, I can work in my garage on the aircraft, and by March will have a
pole barn shop completed large enough that I can assemble the complete
aircraft inside and then pull the wings back off before transporting to
the airport.
I guess I'm saying that so that you all know that space in not a
limitation once March rolls around.
thanks
Jim!
