We got went by the manual and made our original set 38" and 38.25". Then were told by another Elite builder that the manual was wrong and they needed to be longer. The CD called for 39" and 39.25" which is what we made. Have not done final installation / hookup so can't comment further.

Ralph,
My manual says 29 and 29.25, I think that's what you mean. I found after
rigging that I needed 29.25 and 30, tubing length that is. Robin at MAM
suggested that I adjust the flaps first, then preload the teleflex cable and
lock down the mixer with a jamb bolt. That way I am kind of simulating
flight with the air preloading the ailerons against the cable slack. Then
adjust the vertical pushtubes to get those levers as high into the roof as
possible. And then adjust the ailerons to match the flaps.This seem to work
the best for me.
