does any one out there who used the vans engine baffle kit recall which kit
they used, there are several and dont know if there will be any major

I don't know for sure Mike but the rv3/4 have a very narrow cowl so the
baffle sides are likely cut quite low. The rv6 cowl looks a lot more like a
rebel.

The RV-6 kit is the one you need. You have to cut it well down above the
front jugs, so there is only about an inch of metal left there (Elite cowl),
and also it has to be cut back at the front, as the RV has quite a deck in
front of the front cylinders (presumably has a longer shaft extension). I
have some pics that I will upload to the Elite area.

If you're using an O-360, you maight also consider their carb air box. I
also used their fiberglass 13" spinner. It's a lot easier to see where to
drill holes through glass than through aluminum!
