Bob, that is exactly the tool I was looking for. I went to Homebase
(can you believe it?) and found one for $12. I'll cut the hole
tomorrow. Thanks.
Scott, In regards to cutting the access holes in the skins, I had =
purchased some time ago a fly type cutter from (Canadian Tire) of all =
After removing the center slug (they may make nice =
washers some day) a quick run around with the deburring tool leaves a =
perfect hole.-Hope this helps-Bob J.

murphy-rebel Digest for 7 Jan 2000

Scott:

That is the correct tool, and the procedures are correct that Bob
recommends.

Be careful tho, they call it the 'widow-maker' at Boeing. Don't get your
fingers near it when hand-tightening the chuck, stand back, and always wear
safety goggles.

For extra support, especially on the thin .20 wing skins, I always use a 1
ft. sq. plywood backing plate inder the skin.
