Window Retaining Strips

Post by steve whitenect » Sat Feb 18, 2012 9:49 am

Hi All
I was looking at the window installation pics in the files. Could someone
advise if the aluminum parts that are installed on the top and sides are a
part number or someone's wonderful creation. Sure would save alot of glass
work during this time of year when ventilating is costly. (-27C last nite)
If no part number, how about a suggested thickness of the metal.

Also want to send a donation (with Canadian funds). I understand that it
shud go to Wayne for his son who has helped with the site over the years?
Couldn't find the site refered on Maddog. Thanks to all

Steve...donation icons are on the front page of the maddog site.

As for the retainer strips..this was originally in the older kits as Fus-13
(I think was the number) It's just .020 and .025 would be even better.

I can measure width and brake distances in the morning if you like!

Wayne
