Rebel elevator trim servo install

I finished drilling the left elevator up to the point where you cut out the
tab and install the extra ribs. I started thinking about how the servo will
go between the two ribs. I want to install nutplates to make it removable,
and I was thinking it would be a lot easier if the rib flanges both faced
inward, towards the servo. I was thinking about starting over with one of
the extra ribs and re-drilling the one rib with its flange facing the root
end of the elevator. I would then use the already-drilled rib from that
location for one of the the extra ribs in the trim tab, or just order a new
rib. Any ideas on this?
I don't have the servo (back order), so I wanted to be sure that I leave
enough space between the 2 ribs for it to fit. The manual says 3 5/8"
spacing between the two ribs rivet lines, but without having the actual
dimensions of the servo I'm not sure this is enough. That's another reason
to have both flanges facing into the opening; I could trim them with the
skin slightly to widen the opening for the servo if necessary. Can someone
give me the exact dimensions of the servo? That would help a lot.
Has anyone used nutplates here? How many would you suggest? It looks like
you could probably get three on each side. Also what size, 6 or 8 maybe?

Jesse go here for servo dimensions, it is either a T2 or a T3 servo and they
are the same size.

I think I have four #10 nutplates on mine because that was the only size
that came with the kit. Eventually I started using #8 nutplates on
non-structural stuff. And I used a lot of them, especially the ones that
are countersunk for flush rivets. The only other size I remember using
was maybe a half dozen -4 (1/4") on the firewall.
