Flush rivet... part 2..

Hello every body!

Couple of weeks ago, I asked for the degree of the blind flush rivet and if it exist a tool to make the "cut". The use of a 1/2" drill bit is not very pricise.....

I think I have found what evry one is looking for!!!!

For solid rivet I use a "Micro-Stop Contersink" ( unfortunatly, it is 100 degree), but.... I found the cutter that fit that tool with the 120 degree included angle". The "Micro-Stop Contersink" I use have buy from Leavens couple years ago.

"Newman Tools Inc." send me a complete list of that type of little cutter. they are made off high speed steel and they call them
"Chatter free stop contersink cutters"

The cutters on my micro-stop have a body of 1/2" diam., thread of 1/4"-28 , 1-5/32" length.

for #40 part number is SEV.SC-8-60-40P
for #30 part number is SEV.SC-8-60-30P
for 3/16" (they show 3/16 or #10 but not #11) part number is SEV-8-60-316

They are between $35.00 and $45.00 ea.

They also have a lot of different deburring tools. One is call "Double Burr" and it deburre both side of thin material at the same time!
