Pre Flight Pnemonic

Post by snowyriver » Sat Sep 07, 2024 9:01 pm

Hey guys,

Dennis’ story of his misfortune has me thinking about the different pnemonics used before flight and thought it might make an interesting thread.
I use CIGAR, controls-instruments-gas-attitude-run-up. It covers the basics for me.

Anyone else like to share theirs? Craig

I'll toss in TIPS for "final items" after CIGAR... Transponder, Inside/secure, Pumps and Strobes. Unless, of course, you don't have a transponder or pump, then maybe just IS, for IS I ready to go?!!!
