Three Murphys in Redding, CA...pretty close to Grants Pass: a Rebel, Elite, and Super Rebel (all flying).

My Elite is usually an amphib. Currently having fun on 29" Alaskan Bushwheels.

Hi WWhunter! I've got Rebel N988UP here in Roseburg. Very happy with it. It's on spring gear and has a lot of bells and whistles. Fun to fly. Steve Kame

Thanks guys! I will let him know.

Also, there is a Rebel supposedly in Oregon that I was looking at pictures of several months ago. It has green (leather) seats in it and I tried contacting the owner to see where he had his seat made. Does anyone know this owner? N183RF owned by Tim Bero out of Vernonia, Oregon. Anyone know him?

Hello Paul,

You're gonna love your Rebel Elite on 1800 Amphibs. Here are some links for videos and a website of photos of my build. Sorry, haven't gotten around to posting all sections of my build, but lots of pics of panel, construction and assembly.

My build was by the manual and the few Murphy Service Bulletins for strengthening here and there. Tried to keep everything light, no interior, no sound proofing, still no paint. Not aware of any extra tail beef up necessary on Elite (there is on the Rebel).

I went with a constant speed composite propeller (MT-prop), which cost a lot of money and made for a bunch of cowling work. Great performance, but would recommend looking at other composite prop options. Engine is a Superior XP O-360. So, I'm carbureted 180HP.
