new rebel kits?

Post by Suntiet » Wed Mar 29, 2017 5:28 pm

Hello Everyone, the wife and I are this close to deciding on our next aircraft, and we are pretty sure of the Rebel fitting our mission. Does anyone know what mods need to be done to the new kits shipping from the factory or are they incorporated into the new kits? Rough duty off airport style flying.
Sounds like cub gear is the way to go or is the factory bungee gear just as good? I have found a list of the mods on this forum but can anyone tell me where to find directions for them? Anyone on here bought a kit from them in recent times? Good, Bad or Ugly?

Thanks

Sent you an email. I am considering selling my unfinished kit. Even saying that, I think the Murphy Rebel is one of the best bangs for the bucks out there!!!

If you go through the archives you should find the answers you need. Bungees are not sufficient for rough off airport, Craig's cub gear set up is the strongest for real off airport, or you may consider beefing up the existing gear for moderate off airport.
