Look under board index, rebel, modifications. Second last one you see, posted by dcromel

Take with many grains of salt.

FIrewall reinforcement plates (top set being the most critical), MAM's "float fix" bulletin gusset, or if you've already done the windshield my original fix with a double rivet row up the forward door posts and the top 5 rivets up graded to RV1613's.

As a tail dragger Fus 70 x .025 upper cabin to tail cone transition corner wraps are important (instead of spec'd Fus-10's), but on floats the landing load reverses so they aren't so important anymore.

My Fus 31 reinforcing gusset and upgrade of the three rivets to tail post from RV1410's to RV1613's.

Everything else is personal and can be lived without if you can fly the bird and not expect it to survive being hammered into the ground. 23 years later and a 1000+ hours, I still have .020 door sills, Fus 25's , 26's. Yes they are like pop cans, but they are still there. If you're still in the building stage... .032 substitution for door sills and double up the Fus-26's to laminate two .020's together or a single sheet of .040. Fus 25 made from .032 vs .020.

If any flying on wheels is planned, double up the Fus-30.

Beyond that, get it built and in the air as life's too short to stare at it in pieces!

BTW, notice I said nothing about moving the firewall back and messing up your ability to carry a load in the back. :shh:
